HostGator Review: My Experience Using Their Support Staff

Before jump into the meat and potatoes of HostGator WordPress hosting review, it is important that making sure that make it crystal clear that this review is going to only focus on the WordPress -specific cloud hosting services. If you sign up for another kind of hosting plan, your mileage might vary. That being said, HostGator has a very solid track record when it comes to hosting WordPress sites. They have consistently delivered results for their customers. So if you are thinking about signing up with HostGator to host your WordPress blog or website, I am happy to be one of your customers. HostGator is a very reliable and trustworthy Scala hosting managed VPS review.

A few weeks ago, I was looking over a few different web hosting providers, and before I was even finished reading a couple of hosting reviews, I had made my decision. I had decided to go with HostGator because they are the cheapest. And in all honesty, the cheapness of the hosting services that they offer is what sealed the deal for me. I have been using HostGator since early 2021, and every year since I’ve been a customer I’ve been very satisfied.

Now, to begin my HostGator hosting review. I must admit that I was a bit nervous when I first started reading through a HostGator review, simply because they tend to give very mixed reviews. They have pros and cons that range from the “bluehost” crowd, to people that use the word “disgusting”. I personally feel that HostGator has its pros to work off of, in addition to the fact that they have a reputation for being a dependable host. In fact, the only thing that I could see as being “disgusting” was the fact that there was not a free option in their basic hosting plans. That being said, I don’t think that it is an unpleasant hosting company in general, but I do feel that there are some aspects of it that people should be aware of.

In this HostGator hosting review I want to talk about one of the things that I feel is a big negative with most web host companies, and I want to discuss it here specifically. A lot of hosting companies will offer a free domain name and a monthly payment plan for people that need a web host for personal websites. This type of website owners don’t necessarily have a lot of money to build out large, fancy websites, and they don’t necessarily need the full package that a business website would need. Therefore, this can be a good choice for them.

However, I have seen a lot of people that have really started building out their own business website with the help of a paid web hosting service. Now, it should be noted that not all web hosting companies will allow you to do this, so you should make sure to read the terms of service before you get started. But it is definitely true that some do allow you to do this. You will also want to make sure that you are getting a good value for your money.

In this HostGator hosting review I want to talk about the customer support staff that they have. Although the web host has a good reputation in the industry, there are still a lot of people that have had issues with the support staff. You should always make sure to read through the customer support policy before you sign up with a web host company, because this will give you a good idea of how the company handles their customers. The best thing to do is to take the time to write down any issues that you might have and then bring it up to the actual person that is working on your issue. I have personally done this several times to get an idea of how the actual person will treat you if you have a problem.
